What is this?

This blog is going to cover the weekly protests and events surrounding the Gilet Jaune movement in France, as well as similar phenomena if it arises. However, I think we should start with a strong foundation because this has been developing for some sixty weeks now. There has been and still is a great amount going on and it can be confusing to see where it all began.
